From the workshop
We built this baseball set in blue to give hitters several ways to see a pitch. A child can hit off a static stem, swing at a ball hanging from a cord, or time a gentle pop from the automatic launcher. Collapsible bats and mitts pack right into the bag when dusk comes.
Ways to pitch
The center pole works as a standard tee or suspends a ball from an overhead cord so it swings back after contact. Step on the launcher plate instead, and the machine tosses a soft ball straight up into the strike zone.
Telescoping pole and bats
The main upright slides up and down to match different shoulder heights. Both bats collapse down for smaller hands or storage, and the mitts adjust across the wrist with a wide strap.
Broad base on grass
An X-shaped base sits flat on the lawn or the patio without rocking. Grooves molded into the plastic hold the bats between turns so equipment stays out of the dirt.
Catch paddles and mitts
Along with the batting gear, the set includes toss and catch paddles with sticky surfaces that snag the soft balls easily. Everything tucks into the carry sack once batting practice wraps up.
