This is the small end of the baseball shelf: a post, an arm, a bat and soft balls. The ball rests in the top cup for a stationary swing, then the arm hangs it in the air once contact gets reliable. Height steps along the stem. It stands on grass or carpet without a base that has to be filled first.

Adult sports gear is heavy, hard, and clumsy in small hands. We scale down the bats, loosen the bowstrings, and cushion the balls in our workshop. Everything fits living room rugs and small backyards, so the game starts right on the floor without broken lamps.
