From the workshop
We built this blue trainer for kids taking their first cuts at a baseball. The stem holds a ball steady on top, suspends it from an arm overhead, or tosses it straight up with a spring launcher. It sets up on the lawn or in the driveway.
Tee and hanging arm
The stem works as a standard resting tee or attaches an overhead arm to dangle the ball in place. A quick twist changes the height as your kid grows, keeping the sweet spot right across the chest.
Pop up launcher
Press the ball down into the launcher base, step back, and wait for the spring to release. The ball pops straight up in the air so hitters can time their swing against a moving toss.
Wide foot base
An X-shaped base keeps the whole rig upright when the bat clips the stem instead of the ball. The wide feet sit flat on grass, patio stones, or garage concrete without wobbling between swings.
Bat and spare balls
The box includes a collapsible bat, soft balls, and a storage bag to gather everything when the yard clears. The pieces pack down small enough to live in a closet between weekend games.
