From the workshop
A glowing ball changes what happens when the streetlights click on. We built this standard sized sphere with internal lights and several color settings for evening catch in the yard. It is stitched by hand to take ordinary throws and catches, keeping the leather feel familiar in the hand.
Internal glow modes
Push the button to click through solid colors or shifting patterns. The light glows through the outer shell so you can track the arc against the dark sky without losing it in the grass.
Rechargeable power cord
A small port sits flush under a protective flap to keep dirt out. Plug in the included cable between evening sessions instead of swapping loose round cells from a drawer.
Hand stitched exterior
The cover has raised seams and familiar baseball stitching that gives small fingers plenty of grip. It holds its round shape through routine throws and catches across the lawn.
Evening catch only
We shaped this specifically for throwing into a mitt or tossing barehanded at twilight. Keep the aluminum and wooden bats in the bag, because direct hits with a bat will damage the internal lights.
