From the workshop
We built this standing hoop to move up as kids grow. The pole adjusts through several settings, so bank shots and rim grazers work across multiple seasons. Fill the wide plastic base with sand or water to keep the post upright when someone tries a hard layup.
Adjusting the rim
The center pole shifts up and down through several notched heights. You change it by hand without extra hardware, raising the rim when shooters find their rhythm and want a higher target.
Weighted stand
The hollow base takes water or dry sand to anchor the post against aggressive shots. A molded groove across the front catches loose basketballs between turns so they do not roll down the driveway.
What arrives
The box holds the adjustable stand, the backboard and net, a sheet of peel-off stickers, small basketballs, and a handheld air pump. Everything fits together without garage tools.
Where it sets up
The whole unit moves between the patio and the living room rug. It stands tall on the driveway for weekend games and wipes dry before coming back inside when the weather turns.
