Remote-control critters
Remote control wall climbing chameleon
A remote chameleon that drives the floor, then switches to suction and climbs walls, ceilings and glass.

From the workshop
A fan under the body holds it against a smooth surface while the legs walk it upward. Flip the switch and the same machine races along the floor instead. The shell runs through five colours as it moves and the eyes glow red. It charges from a cable rather than a drawer full of cells.
Wall and ceiling mode
Suction holds the body flat to painted walls, glass and smooth ceilings. A switch under the belly puts it back on the floor.
Five colours in the shell
The body lights run through five colours in sequence while it climbs. The eyes stay lit red, which reads best in a dark hallway.
Spins a full circle
The remote steers forward, back and around, including a complete turn in place. The signal holds across a room.
Charges from a cable
A lead plugs into the body between runs. Only the handset takes loose cells.
