From the workshop

We built this table with stacked basins so water can pour down while sand stays in its own spots. The center umbrella slides into place when the sun climbs high on the deck, and a full kit of scoops and ocean molds packs right into the trays.

Water channels and wheels

Water poured into the top tray cascades down through spinning wheels into the wide lower pools. Kids scoop from the bottom, dump at the top, and watch the streams turn the paddles over and over again on the patio.

Sand and mold kit

Separate dry compartments keep wet sand ready for packing. The box includes beach tools and creature molds that shape sea critters in wet grit, then rinse clean in the side troughs before the lid goes on for the night.

Shade on the deck

The center umbrella slots through the core of the table to throw shade across all the basins. It adjusts as the afternoon sun angles down, keeping the splash area out of direct glare while the yard stays warm.

Basin drain and wipe down

Smooth plastic trays hold water without leaks and drain through dedicated plugs at the base. You pull the plugs after the hose shuts off, rinse the sand out of the corners, and wipe the basins dry.
