From the workshop
We built this one to move. The post comes apart into sections, the base empties, and the whole set goes back into the box it arrived in. Height steps along the pole across the early school years. Four balls come with it, which is usually the difference between a game and a search party.
Packs into the box
The pole splits into sections and the base drains, so the set travels to a cousin’s house and back. The printed box is the storage.
Stepped height
The rim moves up the pole in stages as the player grows. A collar locks each position in place.
Four balls
Four balls ride with the hoop so a line of kids keeps shooting. Nobody stands around waiting for one ball to come back.
Base you fill
Sand or water in the foot steadies the post for harder shots. Tipping it out makes the rig light again.
