From the workshop
We build this standing basketball set with a pole that slides up and down across multiple peg settings. Fill the hollow base with sand or water, pump up the soft balls, and set the board on the rug or outside by the water. When a player grows, move the pin up a notch.
Telescoping pole
The center post slides through multiple height holes so you can raise the backboard as players grow. A simple pin holds the rim in place for layups and regular jump shots.
Weighted hollow base
Fill the plastic stand with water or dry sand to anchor the pole during games. It keeps the board upright on the carpet, in the driveway, or right alongside the swimming pool.
Soft mini basketballs
The kit comes with small balls sized for smaller hands, along with a hand pump to keep them full of air. They bounce cleanly without scuffing baseboards or furniture.
Foldable rim and net
The rim snaps into position with a detachable net and folds down flat when you need to store the frame. Everything fits together without searching through the home toolbox.
