From the workshop
We built a single iron stand that handles both hoops and batting. The frame holds a backboard up top, or swivels into a baseball post with a standard tee, a hanging strap, or a popping launcher. Fill the wide base with water or sand, and it stays upright in the driveway through windy afternoons.
Base and iron pole
Thickened iron poles slot into a broad triangular base without needing extra tools. Pouring water or sand into the cavity gives the whole rig enough weight to stay put when struck by missed swings or hard shots.
Height settings
The center post slides up and down to match small hitters or taller jumpers. You can lock the hoop high for basketball rounds, or drop the post down low when it is time to swing a bat.
Batting modes
Batting changes depending on what part you attach. Hit off a regular rubber cup, swing at a ball dangling from a cord, or step back and wait for the spring base to pop a ball up into the strike zone.
Balls and storage
The set packs small basketballs, batting balls, and a bat into a travel bag. A grooved channel on the base keeps one ball resting right at your feet between turns at the rim.
